As we were stepping off the ship this past March, the world around us had already begun to change due to the coronavirus. As we look towards our annual late winter retreat and cruise (the Florida Gulf Coast Dulcimer Retreat is scheduled to go on with additional safety measures in place), the consensus is that we're still planning on the cruise, albeit in a more laid-back fashion.
Instead of a bunch of workshops, we'll be using the conference room for socially distanced jams and hang-outs. Private lessons can be arranged as well. We're mainly just going to chill and make a little music. We might even do some presentations via Zoom, so we're looking at that as an option for folks who want to go, but are opting-out.
Of course, there is a possibility that the cruise industry may not be allowed to operate at that time, in which case we obviously won't be going anywhere.
So, if you've already put a deposit down on your cabin and are planning on joining us for the cruise, there will be no registration fee at this time. We will take our cues from the health experts and plot our course accordingly. Naturally, we're hoping that the climate is right for another enjoyable frolic on the high seas!
Subscribe to this page for updates and we hope to see your smiling faces again on board the ship!
